Nemmeno i fautori della democrazia lo usavano volentieri, preferendogli termini come <em>isonomia<\/em>, <em>isegoria<\/em> e simili. \u00c8 probabile, come ha mostrato Ehrenberg, che il termine fosse coniato dagli avversari dei \u201cdemocratici\u201d e da questi fatto proprio.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Questa l'opinione espressa nell'antologia degli storici greci preparata qualche anno fa con l'amico e collega A. Bevivino (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.it\/dp\/8837911211?tag=grecoanticoit-21&amp;camp=3458&amp;creative=23838&amp;linkCode=as4&amp;creativeASIN=8837911211&amp;adid=1VWD84T1W607AASHRC6P&amp;\" target=\"_blank\">\u0391. \u0392evivino, R. Rossi,\u00a0<em>Per lungo ordine d'anni. Antologia tematica della storiografia greca, <\/em>Cappelli Editore,\u00a0Bologna 2007, 188<\/a>. Il volume \u00e8 <a href=\"http:\/\/clkuk.tradedoubler.com\/click?p=217249&amp;a=2254917&amp;g=20336894&amp;url=http:\/\/www.ibs.it\/ser\/serlib.asp?isbn=9788837911218&amp;redir=no\" target=\"_blank\">reperibile anche su IBS<\/a>). Nella <strong>videoconferenza <em>live<\/em><\/strong> dello scorso <strong>26 marzo<\/strong> sono state esaminate alcune testimonianze a giustificare questa opinione, partendo dall'esame della componente <strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u03ba\u03c1\u03b1\u03c4<\/span>-<\/strong>.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>L'esame \u00e8 partito dall'etimologia di\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>\u03ba\u03c1\u03ac\u03c4\u03bf\u03c2<\/strong>, che il\u00a0<\/span><em>DELG (Dictionnaire \u00c9tymologique de la Langue<\/em> <em>Grecque<\/em> di P. Chantraine) fa risalire ai seguenti significati:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>durezza<\/li>\n<li>forza fisica (che consente di riportare il trionfo)<\/li>\n<li>dominio, potere<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In <strong>Omero<\/strong> si \u00e8 riscontrato il valore polare del termine, che oscilla fra il senso positivo e quello negativo, come risulta da due esempi (fra i tanti che si potrebbero individuare):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u03b2\u03b1\u03c3\u03b9\u03bb\u03b5\u1f7a\u03c2 \u03c4\u1fbd\u1f00\u03b3\u03b1\u03b8\u1f78\u03c2 <b>\u03ba\u03c1\u03b1\u03c4<\/b>\u03b5\u03c1\u03cc\u03c2 il\u00a0<em>logos tripolitik\u00f2s,\u00a0<\/em>nel quale viene proposto \u00abil nome pi\u00f9 bello di tutti\u00bb, ossia \u1f30\u03c3\u03bf\u03bd\u03bf\u03bc\u03af\u03b1, \u00abuguaglianza di tutti di fronte alla legge\u00bb (\u00e8 il persiano Otane che propone questa definizione).<\/p>\n<p>III 80:\u00a0\u03a0\u03bb\u1fc6\u03b8\u03bf\u03c2 \u03b4\u1f72 \u1f04\u03c1\u03c7\u03bf\u03bd del termine \u03b4\u03b7\u03bc\u03bf\u03ba\u03c1\u03b1\u03c4\u03af\u03b1 con il riferimento all\u2019<i>isonomia <\/i>(\u03ba\u03b1\u03c4\u1f70 \u03c4\u03bf\u1f7a\u03c2
